Just to be contrary, I'll offer this:

What a great blog. I envy economists. I got a PhD in Chemistry, and I am jealous that you guys get to think about everything (noting your post on academic imperialism). Well, not being an economist doesn't stop me, but I fear chemists lack the gravitas or something to appear authoritative about so many things...
