The Stand-In
My wife was talking to my son:
“While Mommy is away, you have to listen to Daddy and do whatever he tells you to do.”
“Yes, Mommy, Daddy is your stand-in.”
My wife thought that was quite funny. I thought he understood the situation quite well.
